What to Expect at a Rainbow Meetings

Rainbow Girls belong to an “assembly”, which is the same as a local club.
Members learn standard meeting protocol, helpful in school, community, and later throughout adulthood.
Meetings begin with an entry march and short opening ceremony.
Guests are welcomed and then the members conduct their business.
Sometimes meetings conclude with a fun presentation or special entertainment, followed by a short closing ceremony and ending drill march.
As assembly is administered by twenty officers who serve for a four or six month term that begins with a festive and colorful “installation”.
Members can hold many different offices in Rainbow in which you may gain practical knowledge, confidence and grace, enabling them to excel in school as well as outside activities.
A girl may wish to advance through the ranks and eventually become the assembly’s presiding officer, the Worthy Advisor.
This experience provides a wonderful and valuable experience a girl never forgets.
Each year a core of “Grand Officers” is selected from the past Worthy Advisors.
